Who are we?

We’re Progrexion (that’s Proh-gresh-uhn). We are the country’s largest provider of consumer credit report repair services. In simple terms, we offer life changing services that impact people in a very big way. We like to say, “Credit Matters”.

Our employees represent the largest force in the world helping people take charge of their credit so they can, well, live the American dream. We are growing like crazy, so if you want to be part of something pretty unique and special, you may be the next addition we need to make something that is already very good, even better.

Communications Leader

One of the most important competencies a successful company needs to be really great at is communicating.  Who needs to know what, and when do they need to know it?  How do they want to hear it, and what’s the best way to position and then deliver the message?  How can the same message be tailored for different locations and other cultures?

Do you love language, know how to concisely extract the key messages and package them for distribution?  Can you write an inspiring message full of silly energy, and just as easily turn serious and somber to salute a virtual flag?  We’re looking for you if you’ve done internal communications for a organization before, and are interested in joining a winning team with a great company positioned for extraordinary growth.

5 states, 11 sites, almost 3,500 employees, and organizational readiness for a rock star communications expert to help us craft a communications strategy and plan, and then execute the stuffing out of said plan.  We are nimble, non-political and ready to roll...just waiting to hear from you.  Hurry it up!

The position is full-time and located at our office in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah

  • The usual stuff associated with joining a growing company:
    • Come in and learn our business
    • Build strong working relationships with your teammates
    • Assess the business needs in relation to communications across the company
    • Who are our different audiences, and what are our region differences
    • Assess what we’re doing currently that’s working or not working
    • Put together a plan and then execute
    • Measure success and failure – tweak plan iteratively
    • Run fast!
  • What you’ll spend your time doing:
    • You’ll be a one-person shop, so you’ll spend your time...well, doing!  You will have some assistance from internal resources interested in participating, however skill and quality may vary.  For the most part … tag, you’re it
    • Staying plugged into the leaders and the business to be enough in-the-know to understand what needs to be communicated to whom and by when
    • Creating, coordinating and disseminating content
    • Serving as primary point of return communications from employees responding to internal communications
    • Serving as an internal consultant, teaching our leaders how to communicate locally as appropriate

  • You are really excited by the thought of operating in a high energy, high accountability environment where you can make a significant contribution to business outcomes
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in anything – bonus for additional schooling
  • Beyond a shadow of a doubt you’re one of if not the best writer you know...if writing comes easily to you and you can produce a big pile of quality content without breaking a sweat or stressing over deadlines
  • The writing you produce is vivid and tells a story. You are able to spark your reader’s imagination and motivate others through your words
  • Courage and creativity are professional go-to tools on the job. You don’t mind taking risks, and you thrive in an environment where there’s way more than you have time to do so prioritizing is critical to your success
  • Change is something you love, and you possess the ability to keep your head when all those about you are losing theirs
  • You are a quick learner, and able to assimilate a lot of disparate information in short order. You can take complex ideas and across a variety of disciplines very concisely and effectively communicate for understanding
  • People like you, and you like people back. You’re able to both influence others, and when listening to other’s perspectives be swayed by the better argument
